ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Amber ( Paridhi Sahai) had always been enchanted by the creative process and found her outlet for it. Her creative pursuit lead her to follow her dreams, her ideas and her imagination with which she has successfully established first generation jewelry business at New Delhi, India. Mine Of Design is her initiative. Keeping the democratic approach of Design the label supports the entire cycle from conceptualization, design, sourcing (metal, stones), making of jewels to packaging under one umbrella. The universal values intimately connected with real people and, each piece adds to its sartorial elegance. Thus making it a Legend.

Finishing at the top of her class in her study of Accessory Design at National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, India (affiliated to FIT New York) she follows her passion for last seven years, Amber’s forte is to design interpretations to evolution, innovation to invention of Jewels using gold, colored stones and diamonds along with the table top accessories in Sterling Silver.

And each story is added as it passes through the hands of the new story teller—the people in the making of the jewel. The designer: Amber who conceived it always with the close involvement and collaboration with the Mine of Design family: the artisans, instilling life into the jewels, the story of the person who buys it and the setting in which it finds it’s self eventually…

The Look: Through the similar language of forms and colors, the works of Amber at Mine of Design, responds to the complexity to the tastes and sensibilities of the people of our times. Subtle, Minimalist or baroque …classic and avant-garde, jewel in turn underlines and becomes a defining element of one’s personality, one’s taste and one’s persona.

The designs conceptualized are to discover the hidden super natural power in the stone that can actually make one motivated to create a jewelry; it had made the reason for the people to fight for and mesmerize the women to crave for. As a designer Amber sees the instinctive attraction in these stones that have purely taken the credit to inspire her to create a range of lustrous impulse.

Mrs. Swatantra Sahai overlooks the work process at each stage at Mine of Design and after her approval and tasteful aesthetics does it move to the next stage. The duo is retailing their jewelry line from their store in Ghaziabad and for clients in USA and India.
